Exploding Letter Boxes

Exploding Letter Boxes

Halloween monsters began their reign of terror two nights ago, scaring people and pets with explosive fireworks set alight in letter boxes. One house was fire-bombed with ear-shattering crackers after windows were smashed. Luckily the occupants managed to douse the flames.

Controlled public displays of fireworks cause enough traumas to pets without hoons and hoodies deliberately targeting the innocent.

No doubt teenagers have been building up an unbearable anticipation, waiting for the sale of fireworks to commence, one week before Guy Fawkes celebrations; so that monsters from hell can realise their sadistic fantasies in explosions and obscenities.

Parents of these monsters may wonder what genetic malignancy blighted the children they've spawned.
Why can't they enjoy a bit of fun and a laugh like the good kids, where no one gets hurt? What pleasure children and young families have always found in fireworks when common sense is not an issue!

Meanwhile police and firemen, who are out in force at night, just don't understand these failures of human beings who crave a necessary and frenzied release. Where is their tolerance so those who have gone crackers can surely continue to have some fun?

Halloween is very insignificant here and private sale and use of fireworks is well on the way to being banned. Been raining all day here. Like some ?

Hi Skip
Halloween was very quiet for us. Only two kids turned up, but when offered fruit pulled faces and went away.

from the NZ Herald: Fireworks had barely hit the shelves on Friday before firefighters and police were rushing to put out blazes, deal with homemade bombs and support shell-shocked homeowners. The service is horrified that the mayhem started just hours into the sales period. Exploding fireworks have been put into internal access mailboxs too, putting lives at risk.

The sooner there is a retail ban, the better!

Tis but the nature of most children, demonic in excess. Totally self-centred, its okay its the way you humans are made to behave fresh out of the box. Survival, call it whatever. The frenzied release, the failure of 4000 years of religious indoctrination - proof the beast within is never tamed!!
Yow !!

Hi there Cathead

Well said. Religious indoctrination has not tamed the savage beast in badly brought up mongrels/humans.

About some of your cousins:
The Australian Mufti (Sheik Alhilali) made the analogy that if you left uncovered meat out in the backyard, and the cats came and ate it, would you blame the cats or the uncovered meat? Women without head scarves being the uncovered meat, obviously, and men being the hungry old tomcats.
So are Muslim youth expected to go tomcatting and behave like your notorious cousins who haven't been neutered? That problem could easily be remedied!
